Heartstart Skye is part of the British Heart Foundation's "Heartstart" scheme. We provide FREE 2 hour courses in Emergency Life Support (ELS). Courses are available to businesses, groups, clubs and individuals. We work closely with local charity Lucky2bhere to provide training in the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). We are composed entirely of volunteers from the Scotish Ambulance Service, Portree Hospital and Portree Lifeboat who are commited to delivering vital ELS training to our community. We are especially keen to deliver training to pupils at Portree High School and people living in remote isolated communities.
